Any incoming first year student is welcome to participate in Pathways. Restrictions in housing may prevent some students from living on campus if they apply after the deadline (see prospective students for more info on dates & deadlines). We specifically gear the program towards students who are not from Arizona and to underrepresented populations (first generation, low income, and students of color).
Why does Pathways Exist?
Participation in Pathways directly impacts students transition to the campus community. Pathways exists because of the opportunity participants have to brush up on basic skills in math and writing while forming a tight-knit connection with other first year students at the University of Arizona.
