DIVERSITY & THE
MILLENNIAL STUDENT
|
Current and
incoming students--the Millennials--are
more diverse and have been exposed to diversity differently
than previous generations of students. Their experiences
with diversity before arriving on campus and during their
college career have in turn influenced the campus climate.
Consequently, higher education is presented with the
challenge to reshape diversity programming and policies to
accommodate these emerging differences.
