Hometown: Beverly, Massachusetts (20 miles North of Boston)

Why did you choose to come to the U of A? 1) Weather, 2) best support resources for handicapped I’ve ever seen or heard of, 3) top ten writing program nationally, 4) diversity, and, 5) last but certainly not least, the girls.

Hobbies/Interests: Writing, quad rugby, movies, poker. I’m a big fan of sketch and stand up comedy.

Favorite Class: Not being in one

Favorite Type of Music: Hip hop, classic rock

Favorite TV Show/Movie: comedy: Chappell's Show/ Anchorman drama: House, M.D./ 25th Hour or Crash

Favorite Book: Flags of Our Fathers, The Rose that grew from Concrete, The Aeneid (It’s a Latin Book)- Interestingly, those are pretty much the only books I’ve ever read.

Favorite Dessert: Can you go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie?

Favorite Sport: I like ‘em all

How do you define the term “diversity”? First of all, that’s a really broad question. I guess, though, different elements that culminate to form a group. The more unique or different, people, data, experiences, whatever, the more diverse something is.

What do you hope to learn from your experience with the Millennial Project? How to interact with those who have a different background than me. And to learn from a diverse group of people about their perception of life in general, while I give my perceptions and break down whatever barriers or stereotypes there are about people like me.
