Age: 18 years old

Major: Microbiology and a minor in Spanish

Why did you choose to come to the U of A? I chose to come because I had attended a summer program called Med-Start and fell in love with Tucson. Despite the hot weather I loved it. Then I attended New-Start and that’s when I new that I wanted to come here and by going to New-Start I had made a jumpstart on my future at U of A. What also struck me as wanting to come was that there was a diverse population of students. Over the summer I met individuals from all over the world and students from here in Arizona. Then I started to think, “Wow, imagine it like in the Fall! With millions of students!” That was one of the reason why I wanted to come.
