MASS engages in a constant process of inquiry to better understand our students and the environments in which they interact. We use these studies to strengthen existing programs, to develop new programs, and to contribute to the national dialogue on culture and difference in higher education.
Over the last year, MASS staff members have presented at a variety of national conferences in higher education. Presentations are detailed in the latest edition of PRAXIS, our research publication.

administers the Noel-Levitz CSI to over 200 incoming freshman in MASS programs
each year. The CSI gives vital information to staff about students’ motivation
and helps us to identify at-risk academic behaviors.
